At Texas Immersive Institute, our mission is to empower storytellers to design participatory experiences that harness emerging technologies and impact the world. We call these designers TXI Explorers.

A practice that envisions experiences as intimate, interactive, and experiential. Immersive is inviting, story-driven, sensorial and offers an emotional connection. If an experience truly satisfies these needs then an audience will be immersed in a story that can provoke genuine action and true connections.

At HOPE Outdoor Gallery, we'll turn the biggest questions of our technological moment into an evening you experience, challenging all to approach new ideas with ethical, creative and critical imaginations.

Guests will navigate through interactive projects, immersive storytelling, and meaningful conversations with TXI students, faculty, alumni, and industry collaborators. STEP INTO TEXAS IMMERSIVE

The Texas Immersive Institute recently completed a semester-long collaboration with HTC VIVERSE, resulting in the creation of brand-new virtual worlds that demonstrate the power of browser-based storytelling using WebXR. This marks HTC’s first academic collaboration utilizing VIVERSE Create, a WebXR platform for designing and exploring 3D environments directly through a browser.

The world below was created by Emergent Labs, TXI's incubator for immersive experiences. It reimagines the physical TXI Lab as a virtual showcase and highlights 3 Texas Immersive projects: Be A Longhorn, Camp Cura, and Elysian Heights. The experience reflects our vision to prototype the future of storytelling, education, and human connection. We hope you enjoy it!
