Haptics Workshops

Creating for immersive isn’t scary. In fact, take comfort in knowing that no one’s a master at XR. The immersive space is constantly growing and changing, no matter your experience, you will always be learning! At Texas Immersive, we offer FREE workshops every semester for you to take a deep dive into a technology that's relevant to immersive as a practice. All our workshops are open to everyone regardless of their experience level, major, or background! This semester we are hosting pre-event workshops for our 2025 Social Impact BuildFest!

Sandbox Fridays

Every Friday of the semester, Texas Immersive will host Sandbox Fridays. Our goal is to foster collaboration and curiosity. Join in or initiate a guided session around games, demos, research, and more!

  • Starting January 24th

  • Fridays between 12 - 5 PM at the TXI Lab CMA 5th floor. No RSVP required, just stop by!

  • Open to everyone in or outside UT

Open House

Every semester we host one big open house to welcome the new explorers, share updates about TXI projects or events, and open the floor for others in the ATX immersive community to share demos, playtest their latest projects and more!
