STUDENT PROJECTS

Overview

Step into the future of immersive storytelling with these original WebXR games created by students at the Texas Immersive Institute (TXI) through a groundbreaking collaboration with HTC VIVERSE.

Over the Spring 2025 semester, students from Professor Rohitash Rao’s Experimental Storytelling course and TXI Alumni worked with HTC’s Developer Community Manager, Michael Morran, to explore the future of browser-based 3D storytelling using VIVERSE Create. This marks HTC’s first academic collaboration using the platform. Each project showcases the creative potential of immersive media, an industry projected to reach $39.8 billion by 2032.
